Iota chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi in his freshman year at Cornell where
he was a major in Agricultural Economics. He was initially attracted to
the diversity of the brothers themselves. He met brothers from a number
of fraternities but was impressed with the quality of the older
brothers from Iota.

“I was attracted to the variety of the people in the house,” Jason
said. “The group wasn’t pigeon holed with a particular identity. Folks
were from all walks of life and different backgrounds.”

Jason became a very active brother. He resided in the Iota house during
his sophomore and junior years and became chapter president during his
junior year. He also served as Pledge Educator his senior year.
